What is involved?

Upon booking your My Fertility Check consultation, you will be asked to have a blood test to assess your Anti-Mullerian Hormone (AMH) level. You can arrange to have this blood test at the clinic before your appointment, or we can post out an AMH pack to you to take to your GP. Please allow seven working days for the result.

You will be asked to complete a questionnaire detailing your menstrual and reproductive history, medical history and lifestyle factors.

At your My Fertility Check consultation, the fertility specialist will discuss your medical history with you, identifying any changes that you might make to boost your fertility potential. A transvaginal ultrasound will be performed to assess the health of your uterus (womb), Fallopian tubes and ovaries. Together with the AMH results, the ultrasound findings will give detailed information about your ovarian reserve. Click to read What Do The Results Tell Us. You will receive a personalised report detailing the results and specialist advice particular to you.
